A Unity project represents a game or an application that your organization is developing. You can create a Unity project with these tools:
- Unity Hub
- Unity Editor
- Unity Cloud
By default, any new project that you create in the Unity Editor or in the Unity Hub is automatically connected to a Unity Cloud project and the organization that is associated with your Unity account. When you create a project from Unity Hub, you can choose whether to connect it to Unity Cloud.
From Unity Cloud, you can connect your project to Unity Cloud Services, such as Analytics and DevOps. You can also manage access to any content you store in Unity Cloud or Unity Version Control.
Visibility of projects
By default, projects are visible to all organization members. To protect intellectual property or to simplify the organization's project list, restrict the visibility of some projects to organization owners, organization managers, and project members. Other organization members can neither access the restricted project nor view it in the organization's project list.
Manage project visibility at the organization level and at the project level:
- In the organization settings, set the default visibility of new projects. This setting doesn't affect existing projects.
- In the project settings, edit the visibility of the selected project.
To manage project visibility, you must have a subscription to a paid Unity Cloud plan.
