Submit an HTML asset for review

Upload HTML creatives to deliver rich, interactive ad experiences within your campaigns.

Read time 3 minutes

To run a playable or interactive end card, you'll need to submit your HTML for QA.

Prerequisites

Make sure your HTML asset meets the Interactive ad creative requirements before attempting to upload it for QA. This will reduce the chances of it being sent back to you for fixes.

Submit an HTML asset

Follow the steps in this article to upload your creative for testing by ironSource.

  1. Select Campaigns under Promote in the left side menu, and select Edit on the campaign you want to add a new asset to. Alternatively, select New Campaign to create a new campaign.
  2. Scroll down the Edit campaign page and under Creative Sets, select Create New.
  3. Give your new creative set a name. Then, from the Type dropdown menu, select either Playable or Video + Interactive end card.
  4. Select Upload and then select the HTML asset (less than 5MB) that you want to upload. You can also drag and drop the asset in the right column.
  5. After the asset is uploaded, a modal will automatically open, testing that the asset has implemented the required protocol correctly. If your creative passes, you'll see ticks next to each criteria that were tested.
  6. If you see a red exclamation mark next to testing criteria, hover over it to get more information about what needs fixing. After you've fixed the issue, restart the process of uploading your HTML.
  7. When your initial QA has received ticks for all test criteria, use the preview window to interact and complete the gameplay to make sure that it leads to the relevant app store.
  8. Select Save to send the creative to the ironSource QA team for a final review.

Next steps

If your asset passes the final QA, you'll receive an email notification, and your asset will be available in the creative gallery. If you've already included it in a creative and assigned it to a campaign, the creative will automatically start delivering.

If there were issues with the creative, you'll receive an email with details of the issue and instructions on how to fix it. The asset will also have a rejected label attached to it in the creative gallery.

Find your asset quickly using the search bar in the creative gallery. You can search for an asset by creative ID or file name
