You can use Unity Version Control (UVCS) in the Unity Editor to work on your projects. For information on how to enable UVCS for your products, refer to Get started with Unity Version Control via the Unity Hub.
When you open a UVCS project, the Editor opens the project with the Unity Version Control window open.
Note
If the Unity Version Control tab isn’t displayed, select Window > Unity Version Control to open it.

Pending Changes referenceDisplays a list of changed files in your project.
Incoming Changes referenceDisplays external changes in the workspace that your local version of the project does not yet have.
Changesets referenceDisplays each set of checked in changes in the repository.
Branches referenceDisplays any different branches in the repository.
Merge referenceDisplays the current merge in progress.
Settings referenceDisplays the settings that you can use to configure how UVCS works with your project.
