Manage regions
Enable, disable, and configure specific geographic regions for your fleets.

A region is a collection of machines within a specific geographic region. You can manage regions within your account from the Unity Dashboard. Refer to the following sections to learn how to:
Bring a region online
The following instructions explain how to bring a region online from the Unity Dashboard.- In the Unity Dashboard, open Multiplay Hosting.
- Select Fleets.
- Select the fleet you want to update.
- Go to the Scaling settings. This is where all the regions within the fleet are listed along with their scaling settings.
- Select the edit icon next to the region you want to bring online.
- Select the region status then select Online.
The status text should update to Bringing online. The status updates again after the region is completely online.
Take a region offline
The following instructions explain how to take a region offline from the Unity Dashboard.- In the Unity Dashboard, open Multiplay Hosting.
- Select Fleets.
- Select the fleet you want to update.
- Go to the Scaling settings. This is where all the regions within the fleet are listed with their scaling settings.
- Select the edit icon next to the region you want to bring offline.
- Select the region status, then Take fleet offline.
Add a region
The following instructions explain how to add a region to a fleet from the Unity Dashboard.- In the Unity Dashboard, open Multiplay Hosting.
- Select Fleets.
- Select the fleet you want to update.
- Go to the Scaling settings. This is where all the regions within the fleet are listed along with their scaling settings.
- Select Add region.
