Unity's AI tools accelerate game development through AI-assisted workflows in the Unity Editor. Use these tools to prototype ideas faster, boost creative output, and reduce time spent on repetitive tasks.
Unity organization owners and managers can use Unity's AI Settings page to enable or disable access to Unity's AI tools, such as Assistant and Generators, for all users and projects. These settings govern how your team interacts with AI-powered asset generation, coding assistance, and model training features.

Prerequisites

Make sure you meet the following requirements before you configure Unity's AI settings in the Unity Dashboard:
  • You must be an organization owner or manager. For more information on different user types, refer to User types, roles and permissions.
  • You must have a Unity Dashboard account.

Update AI settings in the Unity Dashboard

To enable or disable Unity's AI features for your organization, follow these steps:
  1. In the Unity Dashboard, go to Products.
  2. Select Tools > Unity AI Assistant.
  3. Select Settings.
  4. Configure the settings to enable or disable Assistant and Generators. For more information, refer to AI settings reference.
Changes are saved automatically. The updated settings apply immediately across all projects in the organization.
    Note

  5. If Unity Editor is already open, you might need to restart it or trigger a domain reload (for example, enter Play mode) to view the changes in the Editor.
