This plan offers 10 GB of storage on Unity Cloud per organization. This plan is free. All Unity users can subscribe to this plan.

For this plan, the storage cap of 10 GB applies to the whole organization, whatever the number of Personal seats. You can't exceed this cap. To increase storage capacity, upgrade your subscription to another plan that includes pay-as-you-go storage:

Unity Cloud Pro plan and Unity Cloud Enterprise plan

These plans offer different storage capacity:

  • Unity Cloud Pro includes 50 GB of storage per seat. The price is $60 per month per seat.
  • Unity Cloud Enterprise includes 120 GB of storage per seat. The price is $110 per month per seat.

Subscription is annual. You choose to pay your subscription monthly or yearly.

Unity Cloud Collaborate plan

You can subscribe to this plan only if you have subscribed to Unity Cloud Enterprise or Unity Enterprise. You can view and download assets in Unity Asset Manager and runtime applications. You pay $25 per month per seat.

Inclusion in other Unity plans

Other Unity plans include a subscription to a Unity Cloud plan:

  • Unity Pro includes Unity Cloud Pro.
  • Unity Enterprise and Unity Industry include Unity Cloud Enterprise. The Unity Enterprise floating license and the Unity Industry floating license include Unity Cloud Enterprise.

This way, you can unlock new levels of collaboration seamlessly.

Storage

Unity Cloud allocates different amounts of storage for each plan.

Pooling

If you have multiple paid subscriptions, storage from these subscriptions is pooled for the whole organization. The Unity Cloud Personal plan has a cap of 10 GB per organization, regardless of the number of Personal seats.

For example, your Unity Cloud Organization has five subscriptions to Unity Cloud Pro. Each subscription includes 50 GB of storage. Using Unity Asset Manager, members of your Organization can upload assets up to 250 GB. For additional storage on Unity Cloud, you can subscribe to a pay-as-you-go plan at $0.75 per GB per month.

Overage

Unity bills storage based on GB-hours. The cost for additional storage is $0.001027 per GB-hours in a year that has 365.25 days, based on a monthly cost of $0.75.

Example of how Unity calculates storage overage

Your Organization has a subscription to Unity Cloud Pro, which includes 50 GB of storage per seat. If you exceed this limit, Unity charges additional storage. Costs are based on the size of storage per hour. You upload an asset that exceeds the 50 GB limit by 1 GB. You keep the asset stored for two hours before deleting it. Two hours of storage are billed as follows: (2 hours) * ($0.001027 per GB-hours). This way, you pay only for the time during which you have storage overages on Unity Cloud.

Billing

Unity Cloud charges storage for the assets you upload through Unity Asset Manager. You pay only for the size of the assets at the time of upload. Unity doesn't charge changes in asset size that result from subsequent transformations, such as thumbnails, previews, or preparation for 3D data streaming.

For example, if you upload an asset of 2 GB. Billing applies only to 2 GB.
