To check storage allocation and overall usage for your Unity Cloud Organization, follow these steps:

  1. Sign in to the Unity Cloud and select the Organization you want to check storage for.
  2. Select Administration > Unity Cloud storage.

The Unity Cloud Storage page shows the current storage usage for the Organization.

For example, you have a subscription to Unity Cloud Personal. The plan has a non-extensible cap of 10 GB of storage. At the start of the month, using Unity Asset Manager, you upload an asset of 2 GB to Unity Cloud. If you don't upload other assets, the storage bar shows that 2 GB of storage have been utilized for the entire month. At any given time, the total size of the assets that are currently stored on Unity Cloud can't exceed the limit for your organization, that is, 10 GB in this case. As long as your asset of 2 GB remains in Unity Cloud, you can upload other assets only up to 8 GB. The allocated storage per month rolls over to subsequent months.

Overage

If you exceed the allocated storage limit, Unity charges additional storage usage based on GB-hours.

For example, your Unity Cloud Organization has a subscription to Unity Cloud Pro, which includes 50 GB of included storage. You upload 52 GB of assets within the first hour of the month. Unity applies a 2 GB overage fee at a rate of $0.001027 per GB per hour for the remaining hours of that month.

Monitor daily usage and costs

To view the cost and usage report, you must have the Organization Owner role.

To access this report, follow these steps:

  1. Sign in to Unity Cloud and select the Organization you want to monitor usage and costs for.
  2. Select Administration > Cost and usage reporting.

The report shows the number of accumulated GB-hours on a daily basis. The data encompasses only Unity Cloud storage overages.

For example, in the first hour of the month, you upload 2 GB of assets. You keep these assets stored all day. At the end of the first day, the report shows a consumption of 2 GB * 24 hours. The cost is calculated as follows: (2 GB) * (24 hours) * ($0.001042 per GB-hours).

Fair usage limits

Fair usage limits are associated with storage on Unity Cloud.

If the volume of egress, that is, downloads, is excessive compared to your total included storage or your total used storage, we may reach out to understand your usage. In certain cases, we may apply a surcharge.
