What's the difference between managed and unmanaged hosting?
Note: The content on this page pertains to Clanforge. If you’re using Multiplay Hosting, refer to the Multiplay Hosting documentation.
Clanforge offers managed hosting, unmanaged hosting, and hybrid hosting (which is a custom combination of the two offerings). With managed hosting, Clanforge manages your game, monitors your processes, troubleshoots machine issues, and facilitates your game updates. Conversely, with unmanaged hosting, Clanforge supplies you with the machines only. Clanforge can't access the machines for troubleshooting or otherwise, but monitors network performance and outages for you.
