Integrate Realms with your game#

The Setup Guide feature assists you in integrating Realms with your game.

To get started with Realms in your game, follow these steps:

1. In the Unity Cloud Dashboard, open Realms.
2. On the next screen, select Setup guide.
3. Select the game engine you’re using for your project, then Next.
4. Link Realms to your project using the instructions on the screen.

   You can skip this step if you have already linked this project.

5. After the message confirming that the project successfully linked appears, select Next.
6. Follow the instructions on the screen to install the Realms package into your engine, then Next.

   You can only install the Realms package in Unity 2021 or later.

7. On this screen, the Setup guide gives you a Realms sample experience if you need help getting started.
   1. If you want the sample, select Get the sample.
   2. Otherwise, select Finish.
