You deploy Self-Hosted Deployment on your own Kubernetes cluster with the shdctl command-line tool.

Unlike the AWS Terraform and Azure Marketplace packages, Self-Hosted Deployment uses shdctl to manage the entire release lifecycle, from pulling releases and syncing container images to generating secrets and deploying Helm charts or ArgoCD applications.

Unity doesn't install Self-Hosted Deployment for you. Your IT organization or solutions integrator performs the installation steps on the following pages and operates the deployment after rollout. For the full delivery model, refer to Introduction to Self-Hosted Deployment on Kubernetes.
