Version 4.20.0 - released 2026-08-14

  • Improved ad load reliability and overall performance.
  • Fixed a crash on Android 8 and reduced Application Not Responding errors (ANRs).
  • Added support for Android Gradle Plugin 9 with R8 minification.

If you’re upgrading or plan to upgrade to Android Gradle Plugin 9 / AGP 9 with 
isMinifyEnabled = true
, install the Unity Ads SDK 4.20.0.
If you’re using a Unity Ads SDK version earlier than 4.20.0 with Android Gradle Plugin 9 with 
isMinifyEnabled = true
, you must add the required keep rules to your own ProGuard configuration, otherwise Unity's diagnostic and operative events are silently dropped under R8.

Version 4.19.0 - released 2026-06-23

  • Upgraded Kotlin to 2.1.x.
  • Fixed bugs and added stability improvements.
