Get started

Set up Vivox through the Unity Dashboard and download the required Software Development Kit.

Prerequisites

To get started with Vivox Core, you need to do the following:
  • Create a Unity ID.
  • Login to the Unity Dashboard.

Set up Vivox

You can set up and manage Vivox through the Unity Dashboard:
  1. In the Unity Dashboard, go to Development > Products.
  2. Select Vivox Voice and Text Chat.
    • When you launch Vivox for the first time, this adds Vivox to the Shortcuts section on the sidebar.
  3. Select Begin guided setup.
  4. When prompted to choose a game engine, select Custom, then select Next.
  5. On the following page, choose which versions of the SDK you need.
    • For access to restricted SDKs, follow the instructions on NDA platform SDKs.
  6. Select Finish.
