Rigidbody physics

Apply physics-based behavior to GameObjects.
Read time 1 minuteLast updated 10 hours ago

In physics simulation, rigid bodies give GameObjects physics-based behavior such as movement, gravity, and collision.
In Unity, you can configure rigid bodies with the
Rigidbody
class, or the corresponding Rigidbody component.

Introduction to Rigidbody physicsUnderstand the concepts and fundamental behaviors of the Rigidbody class and component.
Configure Rigidbody collidersConfigure colliders so the physics system can accurately detect collisions.
Apply constant force to a RigidbodyApply a constant linear or rotational force to a Rigidbody GameObject.
Apply interpolation to a RigidbodySmooth Rigidbody movement that appears jittery at runtime.
