Get started

Set up Vivox through the Unity Cloud Dashboard and download the required Software Development Kit.

Prerequisites

To get started with Vivox Core, you need to do the following:

Set up Vivox

You can set up and manage Vivox through the Unity Cloud Dashboard:
  1. Go to cloud.unity.com.
  2. Select the Products tab from the sidebar.
  3. Under Gaming Services > Community, go to Vivox Voice Chat and select Launch.
    • When you launch Vivox for the first time, this adds Vivox to the Shortcuts section on the sidebar.
  4. Select Begin guided setup.
  5. When prompted to choose a game engine, select Custom, then select Next.
  6. On the following page, choose which versions of the SDK you need.
  7. Select Finish.
