Advertising TCF API

Overview

The Advertising TCF API provides access to Transparency and Consent Framework (TCF) data for Unity Ads.
The TCF is an industry-standard framework designed to help digital advertising participants comply with privacy regulations such as GDPR. It provides a standardized way to capture and communicate user consent preferences across the advertising ecosystem.
This API returns information about domains used by Unity Ads for advertising and tracking purposes, along with privacy disclosures required for TCF compliance.

Retrieves Transparency and Consent Framework (TCF) data for Unity Ads.

About This Endpoint

This endpoint provides access to TCF-compliant consent information, which is essential for ensuring GDPR compliance in digital advertising. The TCF standard enables transparent communication of user consent preferences across the advertising supply chain.

Authentication

This is a public endpoint and does not require authentication. It can be accessed by any client without credentials.

Rate Limiting

To protect service availability, this endpoint is rate-limited:
  • Production: 10 requests per second, 18,000 requests per 30 minutes (per IP address)
  • Staging: 20 requests per second, 36,000 requests per 30 minutes (per IP address)
If you exceed these limits, you will receive a 
429 Too Many Requests
response.

Response Data

The endpoint returns:
  • disclosures: Array of privacy disclosures (currently empty, future enhancements planned)
  • domains: List of domains used by Unity Ads for advertising and tracking purposes
  • sdks: List of SDKs used by Unity Ads for advertising and tracking purposes
