A ProgressBar element displays the progress of an ongoing task or process. Use it to provide visual feedback to the user about the progress of a task, such as file downloads, level loading, or any other long-running task.
You can set and for the ProgressBar. The ProgressBar constrains its current value within these bounds. The minimum allowed value is .
lowValuehighValue0Create a ProgressBar
You can create a ProgressBar with UI Builder, UXML, or C#.
To create a ProgressBar in C#:
- Create a new ProgressBar instance.
- Set its properties. The following example sets the title, range, and initial value:
var progressBar = new ProgressBar();progressBar.title = "Loading";progressBar.lowValue = 0f;progressBar.highValue = 100f;progressBar.value = 50f;
Set the ProgressBar size
To set the width and height of the ProgressBar control, apply styles to the root element with the USS class or set the inline style in C#:
unity-progress-bar.unity-progress-bar { width: 300px; height: 20px;}
To set the size in C#, set the inline style on the ProgressBar instance:
progressBar.style.width = 300;progressBar.style.height = 20;
Style individual parts
Use the USS selectors to style individual parts of the ProgressBar. The following example changes the fill color and background track color:
.unity-progress-bar__background { background-color: #444444;}.unity-progress-bar__progress { background-color: #00aaff;}.unity-progress-bar__title { color: white;}
