# Campaign scheduling

> Schedule a start and end date for your campaign.

Use the **Scheduling** section of your **Campaign** settings to specify the start and end date parameters for your campaign to run. All dates begin and end at midnight UTC. Scheduling works well for seasonal or promotional campaigns that are only be active during a specific timeframe.

## Schedule your campaign

To schedule a campaign to go live at a future date, do the following from the [Unity Ads User Acquisition dashboard](https://cloud.unity.com/acquire):

1. Go to the **Campaigns** page from the left navigation menu.
2. Select the campaign you want to modify to open the Campaign details page.
3. Go to the **Scheduling** section and select **Edit**
4. Enter your desired **Start** and **End** dates. You can also select dates from the calendar.

   * **Start date**: the date your campaign launches. The default value is the current date.
   * **End date**: the date your campaign pauses automatically. By default, this field is empty. With no set End date, campaigns run indefinitely or until they meet budget limitations.

   > Regardless of the chosen start date, a campaign must have the [Required campaign settings](../campaigns/required-campaign-settings) complete in order to go live.
5. Select **Save** to keep your changes
