# User Acquisition attribution and data-sharing

> Review the app data you need to run a Unity User Acquisition campaign

To run an advertising campaign with Unity User Acquisition, you need to supply your campaign with data. All campaigns require attribution data to validate installs. Optimized campaign goals like Return on Ad Spend (ROAS) and Event optimization also need post-install event data.
