# SAML authentication with Microsoft Entra ID

> Set up SAML single sign-on with Microsoft Entra ID.

To let your team sign in to Unity Version Control (UVCS) On-Prem with their existing Microsoft credentials, use Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) authentication with Microsoft Entra ID.

To set up SAML authentication, configure Microsoft Entra ID, then your UVCS server, and then your clients.
