# Manage users

> Configure user settings and permissions in Unity Version Control.

In the [Unity Dashboard](https://cloud.unity.com), you can edit user permissions for Unity Version Control.

## Unity organization permissions

You can edit user types and roles on for your Unity organization. For more information, refer to the following resources:

## Version control user permissions

If you have an [owner or manager user type](/cloud/organizations/roles-and-permissions.md#user-types-and-roles), you can configure item-level (files, attributes, etc.) and repository-level permissions per user.

### View user permissions

To view user permissions from the [Unity Dashboard](https://cloud.unity.com):

1. To open a list of users with access to the Unity Cloud project repositories, and these users' roles, open **DevOps** > **Version Control** > **Permissions**.
2. Select the **Edit** icon next to any of the users to view and edit their permissions for each Unity Cloud project repository.
