# Get started with Unity Pipeline

> Set up Unity Pipeline and install the required tools to build and automate workflows.

Unity Pipeline provides a unified platform for managing projects, automating workflows, building content, and integrating Unity services into your development processes. Use this page to install the required tools, create a Unity project, and configure Unity Pipeline so you can use its APIs, services, and workflows.

To get started with Unity Pipeline, ensure you have all the following requirements:

1. Unity Pipeline is currently in closed beta, and access is limited. If you're interested in using [Unity Pipeline web](/unity-production-pipeline/web-dashboard/get-started-web.md), submit an application through [the sign-up form](https://create.unity.com/sign-up-unity-production-pipeline). We review each application individually and approve access based on the number of teams we can support during the beta.
2. Install the following tools:
   * [Unity Hub](/hub/install-hub.md) 3.19.5
   * [Unity Editor](/hub/add-editor.md) version 6.0 or later
   * [Unity CLI](/unity-cli/use-unity-cli.md)
   * [Install the Unity Pipeline package](/unity-production-pipeline/local-tools-cli/unity-pipeline-package.md) using Unity CLI
   * Any AI assistant

With Unity Pipeline configured, you can start using its tools together to build, automate, and manage your development workflows.
