# View and edit Cloud Save player data

> Use Player Management to view or edit a player’s Cloud Save data, including key value pairs and player's Cloud Save files.

Player Management allows you to view and edit the Cloud Save data of your players in the **Player Data** and **Player Files** sections of the **State** tab.

The **Player data** table displays their Keys, their values and the time of their last update.

The **Player Files** table displays Cloud Save files, their size, and the time of their last update. For more information on Cloud Save files, refer to [Cloud Save files](/cloud-save/concepts/files.md). From the **Player Files** table, you can also delete files or download copies of a file if you need to view it.

> **Warning:**
>
> Deleting Player Files is a permanent action. Files can't be restored once deleted.

If you don’t have the required permissions to access the **State** tab, the card displays **You don't have permission to view this data. Ask an organization owner to grant it.**

2. Locate the **Player data** table in the **Cloud Save** card.
3. Select **Access class** to choose which [access class](/cloud-save/concepts/player-data.md#access-classes) data you’d like to view.

## Edit a player’s Cloud Save data

To edit a player’s Cloud Save data, follow these steps:

1. In **Player Management**, find and open the specific player’s details page. For more information, refer to [Find a player](./find-a-player.md).
2. Locate the **Player data** table in the **Cloud Save** card.
3. Select **Edit** (pencil icon) on the row corresponding to the **Key** value you want to change.
4. In the **Edit** dialog, enter the new value. The value must be valid JSON, so you can't leave the field blank.
5. Select **Save** to confirm.

A notification confirms **Value saved**.

> **Note:**
>
> Cloud Save data is environment specific, so edits only apply to the environment selected in Player Management. To edit Cloud Save data in another environment, select that environment in Player Management first.

## Add key value pairs

To add key value pairs, follow these steps:

1. In **Player Management**, find and open the specific player’s details page. For more information, refer to [Find a player](./find-a-player.md).
2. Locate the **Player data** table in the **Cloud Save** card.
3. Select the **Add Key Value Pairs** button.
4. Enter the name of the new **Key** and the **Value** you’d like it to have. The value must be a valid JSON value. If the Key already exists, saving overwrites its value.
5. Select **Save** to confirm. The key value pair is saved to the selected Access Class.

A notification confirms **Value saved**, and the **Player data** table shows the new key-value pair. The change applies the next time the game reads it.
