# Status

> Shows which credentials the CLI is using.

Shows which credentials the CLI is using: `UGS_CLI_AUTH_TOKEN`, a Unity Hub login, a saved Service Account key, or the Service Account key environment variables.

If more than one is configured, it also lists the sources being overridden. See [Login] for the order of priority.

> **Note:**
>
> `ugs status` doesn't check the `UGS_CLI_USE_HUB_AUTH` environment variable. When it's set, calls use Unity Hub, but `ugs status` reports the next configured source instead.

> **Note:**
>
> This is a base command specific to the CLI that allows you to make authenticated calls to our apis. It is not related to the Authentication Unity Service.
