# Monetization performance metrics reference

> Select and customize key monetization metrics — including estimated revenue, eCPM, impressions, and ad requests — to measure and optimize your app's monetization performance over desired time intervals.

Use the following metrics to customize your report with key performance indicators you use to review your monetization performance from the **Performance** panel.

| ----------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Revenue     | The total ad revenue earned by the publisher.                                                           |
| Requests    | The total number of ad requests made.                                                                   |
| Impressions | The total number of ads shown to users.                                                                 |
| eCPM        | Effective cost per thousand impressions. The average revenue your game earns for each 1000 impressions. |
