# supportsDepthClamp

> Indicates whether the current platform and graphics API support depth clamping, that is, disabling rasterizer depth clipping. (Read Only)

## Definition

* **Type:** Property
* **Namespace:** [UnityEngine](/engine/7000.0/script-reference/unityengine.md)
* **Assembly:** UnityEngine.CoreModule

```csharp
public static bool supportsDepthClamp { get; }
```

### Remarks

When depth clamping is enabled, for example by disabling the ShaderLab ZClip state, depth values are clamped to the depth range instead of clipping the geometry against the near and far planes. Not all graphics APIs and devices support this; when this property is false, ZClip state changes have no effect.
