# EnergyEfficiencyMode

> The current energy-efficiency mode state. Setting this to true asks the subsystem to bias device-level configurations toward energy efficiency over peak performance (e.g. Android's power-efficiency hint on the ADPF hint session). If Feature.EnergyEfficiencyMode is not supported (see AdaptivePerformanceSubsystem.Capabilities ), the set is a no-op and the stored value does not change. The getter reflects the last value that was successfully applied to the subsystem, not the most recent request — so a failed set leaves the getter reporting the previous state. The default value is false.
