# RowGUI(RowGUIArgs)

> Override this method to add custom GUI content for the rows in the TreeView.

## Definition

* **Type:** Method
* **Namespace:** [UnityEditor.IMGUI.Controls](/engine/6000.7/script-reference/unityeditor/imgui/controls.md)
* **Assembly:** UnityEditor.CoreModule

> **Warning:**
>
> **Removed.** TreeView is now deprecated. You can likely now use TreeView\\\<int\\> instead and not think more about it. But if you were using that identifier to store EntityId data, you should instead opt to upgrade your TreeViews to use TreeView\\\<EntityId\\> to get the proper typing.

```csharp
protected virtual void RowGUI(TreeView.RowGUIArgs args)
```

### Parameters

**** (\[RowGUIArgs]\(/engine/6000.7/script-reference/unityeditor/imgui/controls/treeview/rowguiargs)): Row data.

### Remarks

This method is called once per visible row. The *See Also* section below links to methods and properties that can be used to tweak where the default icon, text and foldout arrow are rendered and other useful information when doing custom row content.

If the TreeView is used in combination with a [MultiColumnHeader](/engine/6000.7/script-reference/unityeditor/imgui/controls/multicolumnheader.md) then use the methods of RowGUIArgs to access information for the columns. See the manual for examples.
