# operator ==(LocaleIdentifier, LocaleIdentifier)

### Parameters

**** (\[LocaleIdentifier]\(/engine/6000.7/script-reference/unity/localization/localeidentifier)): The first identifier to compare.**** (\[LocaleIdentifier]\(/engine/6000.7/script-reference/unity/localization/localeidentifier)): The second identifier to compare.

### Remarks

Equivalent to [LocaleIdentifier.Equals](/engine/6000.7/script-reference/unity/localization/localeidentifier/equals.md): the comparison ignores case.
