### Remarks

A self transition is anchored on both the incoming and outgoing side of its state, so it appears in the results of both [State.GetIncomingTransitions](/engine/6000.7/script-reference/unity/graphtoolkit/editor/state/getincomingtransitions.md) and [State.GetOutgoingTransitions](/engine/6000.7/script-reference/unity/graphtoolkit/editor/state/getoutgoingtransitions.md).
