### Remarks

A self transition is anchored on both the incoming and outgoing side of its state, so it appears in the results of both [IState.GetIncomingTransitions()](/engine/6000.7/script-reference/unity/graphtoolkit/editor/istate/getincomingtransitions.md) and [IState.GetOutgoingTransitions()](/engine/6000.7/script-reference/unity/graphtoolkit/editor/istate/getoutgoingtransitions.md).
