# ambisonic

> Whether the downloaded AudioClip is marked as ambisonic.

## Definition

* **Type:** Property
* **Namespace:** [UnityEngine.Networking](/engine/6000.6/script-reference/unityengine/networking.md)
* **Assembly:** UnityEngine.UnityWebRequestAudioModule

```csharp
public bool ambisonic { get; set; }
```

### Remarks

When true, Unity treats the downloaded [AudioClip](/engine/6000.6/script-reference/unityengine/audioclip.md) as ambisonic audio. The project's ambisonic decoder plug-in then decodes the audio based on the orientation of the [AudioSource](/engine/6000.6/script-reference/unityengine/audiosource.md) and [AudioListener](/engine/6000.6/script-reference/unityengine/audiolistener.md).

You can set this property before accessing [audioClip](/engine/6000.6/script-reference/unityengine/networking/downloadhandleraudioclip/audioclip.md), or pass `true` for the `ambisonic` parameter in the [constructor](/engine/6000.6/script-reference/unityengine/networking/downloadhandleraudioclip/ctor.md) or [UnityWebRequestMultimedia.GetAudioClip](/engine/6000.6/script-reference/unityengine/networking/unitywebrequestmultimedia/getaudioclip.md).

*Note:* Changing this after the [AudioClip](/engine/6000.6/script-reference/unityengine/audioclip.md) has been created has no effect.
