Use AssetBundles to load assets at runtime

Organize and build assets into the AssetBundle archive format.
Read time 1 minuteLast updated a month ago

Use AssetBundles to group together assets in your project in an archive file format. AssetBundles can speed up the build times of your project and enable delivery of content in patches and DLC.
Tip
Content directories are designed to be a replacement for the AssetBundle system. If you're creating a new project with content you want to distribute locally, consider using content directories instead. The AssetBundle system remains a valid workflow for remote content build solutions.
