# upc-cli tool

> Perform global administration and bulk access management tasks.

upc-cli is a lightweight command-line interface (CLI) tool for administering organizations and users in a Self-Hosted Deployment environment. Use it for:

* Global administration tasks not available in the web UI, such as modifying feature flags.
* Bulk access management operations that would be tedious to perform in the Dashboard.

Use upc-cli for Self-Hosted Deployment administrators (that is, those who administer the solution services running in the Kubernetes cluster). It's not for business users, like organization or project owners.
