# Complete initial solution onboarding

> Finalize configuration of the organization and the first user

After the solution deployment has completed successfully, the administrator must perform a few final steps to finalize onboarding:

1. Assign a password to the default Asset Manager organization owner. Right after deployment, this user is the only user in the **unity** realm, `vpc-admin`:

   1. In the [Keycloak admin console](/cloud/virtual-private-cloud/admin/keycloak-admin-console.md), switch to the **unity** realm.

   2. Go to **Manage** > **Users**, and then select the `vpc-admin` user.

   3. On the **Credentials** tab, select **Set password**.

   4. Enter a new password.

   5. Turn off **Temporary**.

   6. Record the password somewhere secure.

> **Note:**
>
> This `vpc-admin` user from the **unity** realm is unrelated to the `admin` account that you use to access the Keycloak console and that is located in the **master** realm. The `vpc-admin` user is the first owner of the default organization and a global administrator in Asset Manager but has no permissions in Keycloak, the identity subsystem of the solution. The `admin` user is an administrator in Keycloak but has no relation and no permissions to Asset Manager.

2. Sign in to Asset Manager as the `vpc-admin` user and complete solution configuration:

   1. To open Unity Dashboard in the browser, enter the address that is specified as the solution FQDN at deployment.

   2. Select **Sign in** and enter the `vpc-admin` credentials.

   3. If prompted, set the e-mail for the `vpc-admin` user. You can enter a placeholder value.

   4. Go to **Administration** > **Members**.

   5. Confirm that the current user `vpc-admin` is the only member, and that it has the Owner user type.

   6. Go to **Administration** > **Settings**.

   7. Rename the organization.

   8. Optionally, set the industry and address.
