# Unarchive a project

> Make a previously archived project active again

If you unarchive a project, it moves from the **Archived** tab to the **Active** tab on the **Projects** page and it is added to the Asset Manager menu. The project's assets, if any, become accessible again.

> **Note:**
>
> Only organization owners can unarchive a project. Project owners can't unarchive projects.

To unarchive a project, complete these steps:

1. In Unity Dashboard, go to **Administration** > **Projects**.
2. On the **Archived** tab, find the project in the list and select **Unarchive**.
