# Configure Developer Data settings for your organization

> Set organization-wide defaults for Developer Data collection and usage to apply these settings to every new project you create.

You can configure your Developer Data collection and usage settings at the organization level to apply these settings by default to all new projects you create within that organization.

After you configure your organization-level settings, you can manage or override these settings per project to meet the needs of your project.

For more information about what data Unity collects on your behalf and how it's used, refer to [Developer Data settings](developer-data-settings).

## Prerequisites

To configure your Developer Data settings, you must have one of the following roles:

* Organization Owner
* Organization Manager

For more information, refer to [User types, roles, and permissions](/cloud/organizations/roles-and-permissions.md).
