# Restore assets

> Restore assets using the Trash feature.

You can send assets to Trash and restore them within 30 days before permanent deletion.

## Prerequisites

You must have the Contributor role in a project to restore assets from Trash.

## Restore assets from Trash

### Restore assets to a single project

To restore assets from a single project, follow these steps:

1. In Asset Manager web, on the left navigation panel, select **Trash**.
2. Select the assets you want to restore.
3. In the top menu bar, select **Restore** or select the restore icon next to the asset.

Your assets are restored to the project from where they were deleted.

### Restore assets to multiple projects

To restore assets from multiple, follow these steps:

1. In Asset Manager web, on the left navigation panel, select **Trash**.
2. Select the assets you want to restore.
3. In the top menu bar, select **Restore** or select the restore icon next to the asset. The project selection dialog opens.
4. Select the projects you want to restore the asset to.
5. Select **Restore**.

Your assets are restored to the selected projects from where they were deleted.

> Assets deleted from a collection are restored to the same collection in the project.
