How to start using Unity Asset Manager with your Unity Cloud Projects.

Getting started with Unity Asset Manager involves signing into Unity Cloud, finding the Unity Cloud Project you want to use Asset Manager with, verifying your role and permissions, and finding your assets.

Once you are signed into Unity Cloud and have verified your system permissions, do one of the following:

  1. If you want to set up a new Asset Manager Project, follow steps to Get started as an administrator.
  2. If you received an invitation to browse or view Unity Cloud Assets from a friend or colleague, follow steps to Get Started as a User.

Verify that you have permission to access Asset Manager

Your Unity Cloud role determines the permissions you have for adding different features to Unity Cloud Projects.

Organization Owners and Managers can add Projects. Users and Guests have different permissions for viewing and modifying content depending on the Projects Organization Owners grant them access to.

To find information about your role in a Unity Cloud Organization, follow these steps:

  1. Sign into Unity Cloud.
  2. Select Administration.
  3. Select Organization members.
  4. Search for your name or email address. Your Unity Cloud role is displayed next to your name.
