Manage access to your project

User management inside the Asset Manager works as an extension of Unity Cloud projects. This means that once a project is created inside the Asset Manager it is administered the same way any other Unity Cloud project would be.

In a Unity Cloud Project you are given a `Owner`, `Manager`, or `User` base role. If the project is enabled in the Asset Manager then you can be given an additional project role that is specific to the Asset Manager.

Add users to a Project

  1. On the left side of the Unity Cloud dashboard, select Projects.
  2. Select the project you wish to add users to.
  3. Under the project details, select the Project members tab.
  4. Select Add project members.
  5. In the Emails field, enter the user email address.
  1. In the User type drop-down list, select a user type.
  2. Select Add to project.

Project roles

As a project owner, you can assign users one of the following roles in your project:

Assign an Asset Manager role to a user

  1. In the Project members tab, select ... next to the project member name.
  2. Select Edit roles in project.
  3. In the Asset Manager drop-down list, select a role.
  4. Select Save.
